Hello everyone!! Well, I'm 21 months old (well, 21 months and 1 week now...I've been slacking on this blog!!). Anyway, so far I've let Mom and Dad live. I've let Grandma Barb live because she's Grandma and she's more fun. I'm a good boy for her. :) Now, Mom and Dad, on the other hand...they're a different story.
Last weekend, Daddy built a shed. It's really nice and he worked hard and did very well on it! Go Dad!! Anyway, that left me and Mommy all by ourselves for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I was busy. Here are a few things I did and surprisingly enough, Mommy didn't get upset:
1. Build tower with toys then knock all of the toys over and make a HUGE mess
2. Open the diaper genie and take out diapers and pull the bag out of the refill container
3. Randomly take out a DVD when Mommy has the doors to the case open
4. Slam my sippy cup onto the floor until the milk or juice inside the cup spills a little for every single beverage I was given
5. Stand at the gate in the kitchen and constantly and loudly scream for Daddy over and over and over and over....even though he was outside and couldn't hear me
6. Turn the TV on and off
7. Loudly announce every car and truck that goes by
8. Ask for Grandma every 10 seconds
9. Save the messiest, grossest, most disgusting diapers for when Daddy isn't able to help clean me up and Mommy is nauseous
10. Take out every single toy I have and make a huge mosh pit in the living room and dive into it over and over
Man!! I had an awesome weekend!! Can't say the same for Mommy though...I think I exhausted her. :)
I love to stack things. I can stack 20 blocks high, put my toys cars up to 4 high, and even can balance one of my cars on top of Daddy's soda bottles!! I know lots and lots of words now and say a bunch of short phrases. The other day, a commercial came on TV and Mommy asked me "What is that?" (I think she wanted me to say car or truck.) I just looked at her and said "Toyota". Come on, Mom!! How can you not know that was a Toyota commercial!! Jeepers. Haha!! Sometimes I get so tired of having to educate my parents all the time.
I can tell Grandma what I want to eat for lunch. She said she's never met a kid that will tell you what they want to eat until now. Apparently, I'm different. Cool. :) I brought Mommy a diaper when I needed a change and said "I poop."
I tell ya, if it weren't for me, these adults wouldn't know what to do!! Haha!!
The only bad things are that my eczema has flared up to the point where Mommy and Daddy took me to the doctor twice, but there is nothing they can do. It itches really bad and the creams are not working as well as we'd hoped. Guess we just have to wait it out. I also skinned the top layer of skin off of my big toe. Only I know how I did it, but I'm not telling. If I'm not thinking about it, it doesn't hurt or bother me. However, if I see it or someone mentions it, I'll walk around on my heels for several minutes and show anyone who's there my toe until I forget about it again. Grandma thinks it's funny. She calls me a Drama King. :)
Onto other news...
Mommy and my baby sister are doing well. Mommy passed the gestational diabetes test at the doctor with flying colors and everything else is going smoothly. Lila is kicking up a storm and Mommy says we're going to have another busy body on our hands. :)
We have a lot planned for the next few weekends. This weekend is a trip to a craft fair, next weekend Renaissance Festival, the 26th is Grandma Aletha's birthday party, the first weekend of October we're dog sitting Libby (I love her!!), and then it's cousin Renee's wedding. Sometimes after that will be cousin Leif's birthday party and then Halloween. We're going to be so busy!!!
Well, better go now. I have more nerves to destroy and more plots to carry out.
Love you all!!
