Hello Everybody!

Christmas and New Year's are done now and everything seems to be calming down and getting back to normal. Mommy, Daddy and I are all over our colds now. My strep is gone and I don't have to take that icky medicine anymore!

Yesterday was Mommy's birthday and I got to stay with Grandma Barb and Grandpa Jim so Daddy could take Mommy out do dinner and a movie! It was so fun! I decided that I didn't want to sleep at their house during the day. I didn't nap for Mommy in the morning because I was so excited that she didn't have to work and then when she took me to Grandma's I vowed not to sleep until night time. I did take about an hour nap...but that was all I could let them have. They weren't going to get the best of me! I slept during the night though.

Then today, Mommy and Daddy came out to Grandma and Grandpa's. I didn't sleep at all for my naps again. I wasn't going to let them make me. I have my Mommy's stubborn streak and by gosh I'm going to win! Anyway, we had fun going shopping and out to eat. I'm pretty exhausted now though and will sleep through the night and promise to take my naps tomorrow. (I think...)
